*Alex Lee (production of Romeo and Juliet)

First and foremost, the ladies were really supportive all the way. I came in with no experience what-so-ever. As part of the cast of Jose Esquea's Lower East Side of Romeo and Juliet and Romeo's crew, we had to show the crowd just how badass we were so it became clear that this was a scene where we had to dominate over Juliet's household. But in order to do that, we had to pull off moves that said to the audience that we had that kind of attitude. Through a couple weeks of practice, we learned to just that. It was exhausting physically and mentally but the ladies help overcome my doubt. In the end, I came through to back up my crew and really give the audience a run for the money. It was an experience I will never forget. I definitely recommend the workshop for anybody who wants to work out and have fun doing it.
